Meet the Coaches  

Brian Rowatt

Head Freshman Coach

Coach Rowatt has been with the Blue Devil Program since 2013.  He graduated from Illinois State University in 2010 with a degree in physical education.  He played four years on the offensive and defensive line at University High School in Normal, Illinois.  Coach Rowatt teaches physical education at Quincy Junior High and has been there since 2012.

Brad Bowen

Assistant Freshman Coach

Coach Bowen is a 2010 graduate of QHS and was on the 2009 team that qualified for the state playoffs. Brad made his mark on defense for the Devils starting at nose guard and playing every game with his customary “constant motor”. He went on to play at Culver Stockton College for one season. Coach Bowen has previously coached for the Quincy Youth Football League for 9 seasons. His family includes wife, Amber and fur child, Josie.
