DeVaughn Hawkins

DeVaughn Hawkins graduated from Quincy High School in 1993 as a football and wrestling standout. He started on both sides of the football for the Blue Devils his Junior and Senior year. Devaughn lead the team on defense as Western Big Six All Conference Tackle both years. He also earned Illinois All-State Football Honors his senior year and placed fifth in state in the Illinois State High School Wrestling Championships. After accepting a scholarship to Colorado State University to play football, Devaughn would as a freshman help CSU win a conference championship and earn a trip to the Holiday Bowl.
